Yay I've finally finished with my old job...and the bad boss doesn't have a clue since he was on holidays...I really need to contact one of the guys to see what his reaction was XD

And new job is working out of home!!!! Which means work will pay for my internet!!!

But first a week of holidays in which I am freezing my butt off in Canberra to visit finferwenwhich I promised to do at the beginning of the year (Why the heck did we choose the middle of winter)

I really really want to get out of this job...Work totally hit a major low today. I think everyone was trying to do everything they could to totally piss me off. You know the day is gonna be sucky when they guy with major death breath needs helps first thing in the morning, then one of your technical colleges stuffs up an image for the one of the sites you are responsible for then still rolls it out the day before a class needs that lab for exams...then tells you when you ask that he knew there was a problem with it when he left to go to another client site at lunch the day he rolled it out...If he had thought to tell me I would have went and fixed it yesterday, rather than an hour before the fecking exam...

Life totally sucks right now

Sheesh I haven't done any sort of creative writing since High school english, and a day of reading Hikago fics at blind_go for Hikago day and inspiration hits. The prodding from finferwen I suppose has also contributed to it.....there go my days of just haunting peoples fic journals to get my daily fill of fandom (Though the haunting will still continue, can't miss out on the awesome fics people write.)

Eminence concert last night was wonderful as they always are...though since other times it has not been assigned seats so we always turned up really early to get the best seat...This time though we turned up 30 minutes before it was to start and the line was going all the way around town hall square and every time the line moved more people would keep rocking up...I think at one stage it actually went around the front of the church as well.

It seemed like we wouldn't be hearing One Winged Angel at all, until it showed up in the encore section and the crowd went wild with the opening notes since we weren't told explicitly which song it would be except that it would involve the choir (everyone loves that song and eminence figured that out several concerts ago)

And lucky bastard that she is kiara_24 won the prize of the night which consisted of several anime DVDs, Xbox games and gaming equipment.

And cause of the damn trackwork we didn't get home till after 11:30 since the bus we needed from wynyard took forever to show up...

hmmmm really should get off my butt at some point and continue sorting out my anime collection but that requires moving from the nice warm bed ad actually doing something productive...

Sheeesh I wish people would  actually inform me as the head of my support team about stuff that is happening that affects the sites I look after... would prevent the having to set up two computer labs for students without having even a backbone network for them to run off and ends up with me constantly on my feet and powerwalking between sites for the last two days

But yay for weekend and the A Night In Fantasia Games edition concert!!!! Still hard to believe that in only about 2 years the concert has grown so much that it is now a games one and an anime one, both hosted at the Sydney town hall. (and dammit why does there have to be trackwork this weekend!!!)

...ugh tomorrow is going to be a long day and starting early cause the damn RTA didn't validate my rego sticker when my housemate went in to pay it for me and so am driving around with it not valid, though that its the only down point of the day. XD

Decided it was finally time to get off my butt and actually use this account for anything other than stalking fanfiction communities and authors from the shadows...and after major prodding from finferwen to post something.

...Not sure exactly what that something will be yet but I'm sure I'll figure something out
